Having been in the field of textiles since the past 12 years, Weavers Studio has established its position by setting up hand-block printing, handloom, hand embroidery units in the vicinity of Kolkata employing 250 plus craftspersons directly and many more indirectly.

We have a design repertoire consisting of more than 20,000 wooden blocks, 1000 textile reference books, 500 old and rare textiles from India and abroad and a R & D team that has
worked on topics as varied as Trade Textiles, Ocean Trade, Woven Cargoes, Khadi, Jamdani Indigo Dyeing in Africa, Vietnam, India, China, Thailand Japan and many others.

Weavers Studio offers diverse options of surface decorations and embellishments, from kantha,tribal embroidery to kalamkari, metal thread zardozi, chikanwork, applique work and pintucks and pleats.

Weavers Studio brings out the richness of traditional textiles and weaves which showcase the vivid Indian design to contemporary silhouettes and handcrafted wearable textiles. We have had a market presence in India for more than a decade and an international presence for more than five years. We specialise in application of natural dyes, mud resist,block printing,wax batik and various resist techniques of India,Japan,Africa and Indonesia. Having added colour to craft, we offer diverse options of surface decorations and embellishments, from kantha, applique, tribal embroidery to kalamkari.

Our three production units together employ close to a 100 craftspeople producing approximately 700 meters of hand dyed,hand painted, hand block printed and tie dye cloth a day and another 500 craftspeople are employed for weaving, embroideries, surface decorations and tailoring.In addition to catering to the needs of our nationwide clientele,we have been exporting through our export division "Veda Commercial Pvt. Ltd" under the brand name "Weavers Studio".
